A welcome and orientation program for the students enrolled for the current academic year at Nehru Memorial P.E. College, Sullia was held on May 23.
Mithali P. Rai, the principal of the college, who presided over the function, spoke and remembered the contribution made by the founder president, K.V.G., to education, realizing that education is a precious asset. On this occasion, she spoke about the rules and regulations to be followed by the students.
Chandrashekar Peralu, the institution’s administrator, who arrived as the chief guest, lit the lamp and spoke, saying that success is possible if students have a clear goal and a strong determination for success.Therefore, the desire to learn and self-confidence must go hand in hand. Parents and teachers should guide and support students’ learning, talent, and self-discipline. He said that all students should make good use of knowledge. Student Welfare Officer Reshma MM was present on the stage.
Students Shalmali and Balagana sang a prayer. Commerce Department lecturer Savitri K welcomed the gathering, and Kannada lecturer Baby Vidya P B compered the program. Student Welfare Officer Reshma MM proposed the vote of thanks. Parents of First PUC students, students, lecturers, and non-teaching staff were present on the occasion.
